Pardoned Turkeys Get Better Food, Rooms

WASHINGTON - Presidentially pardoned turkeys will finally have reason to give thanks. Big birds spared their date with dinnerware on Thanksgiving will now get heat, better bedding, a wider range of munchies — and even the company of chickens, thanks to the efforts of animal welfare activists.

Animal Rights Group Claims Abuse At Egg Farm

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A local animal rights group claims that animals at an Ohio egg farm are being abused and is asking for charges to be filed. Mercy For Animals turned over photographs and videotape to prosecutors of what it calls deplorable conditions at a Darke County egg farm, NewsChannel 4's Kyle Anderson reported.
